The MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in the Radiology Department, responsible for executing tasks related to Magnetic Resonance Imaging while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting MRI scans on patients with precision and care.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient examinations and archiving data appropriately.
- Administering intravenous lines as required for imaging procedures.
- Adhering to established MRI safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification, to be obtained within six months of employment.
- Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential.
While not mandatory, candidates with three years of technical experience in MRI operations will be favored.
Physical RequirementsThis role may require lifting weights up to 100 pounds and necessitates certain physical capabilities.
