Medical Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at Cogent Infotech Corporation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services, including vital signs, medical histories, and medication administration.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with clinical procedures, exams, and treatments.
- Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and maximal coordination of efforts.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting; or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
- BLS/CPR certification required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
Our medical office environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to communicable diseases and body fluids. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, use computer keyboards extensively, and may be required to lift and move patients or equipment.
