Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sonographer II to join our team at Rose Medical Center. As a Sonographer II, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment
  • Prepare the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure
  • Positively reflect concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel
  • Provide care to assigned patients and assure a safe patient care environment
  • Maintain technical skills and use equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety
  • Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiar with the majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
