SAIC is currently in search of an Event Operations Planner to provide support in coordinating and managing logistics related to equipment and transportation, as well as overseeing event support and facility documentation.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
  • Facilitate and oversee virtual collaboration while maintaining essential exercise support data on SharePoint.
  • Develop and sustain documentation and products related to event support and facilities, including event support plans, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) presentations, and requirement charts to monitor event technology, applications, and communication needs.
  • Collaborate with military, civilian, and contractor personnel to identify, confirm, and track all event IT, communications, and system/network requirements.
  • Implement and oversee the access and badging procedures for each exercise/event.
  • Create, manage, and distribute event floor plans for transitions and execution.
  • Work alongside the Event Support team to produce event Information Management / Knowledge Management (IM/KM) briefings.
  • Prepare and present the PWC Facility Brief for each event.
  • Establish and manage exercise and facility SharePoint sites, along with daily agendas and schedules.
  • Process travel documentation for deployed events as assigned.
  • Collaborate with a small team to provide inputs and manage the internal calendar.
  • Engage with and lead meetings with USINDOPACOM leadership and Action Officers/Planners, Component Command exercise planners, and Work Group Leads.
QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree with nine (9) or more years of relevant experience; an additional four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft TEAMS and experience in establishing video teleconference (VTC) meetings.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Connect, Microsoft SharePoint, and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED:
  • Active Secret Clearance is mandatory, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Must be a current US Citizen.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The displayed estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
