Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

U.S. Paverscape, Inc., a premier manufacturer of custom concrete hardscapes, is seeking a dedicated full-time masonry technician. This role focuses on the prefabrication of Outdoor Kitchens, Fireplaces, and other decorative elements to enhance our Backyard Living division. The structures are crafted in our manufacturing facility, and we are open to considering outsourced subcontract fabricators based on current project needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be a proactive team player.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prefabricate Outdoor Kitchens, Fireplaces, and related decorative structures using concrete block materials and proprietary bonding adhesives.
  • Manage projects effectively, including templating according to designs, accurately measuring and cutting block materials, and laying decorative concrete blocks.
  • Visualize and implement aesthetic patterns within construction designs.
  • Utilize masonry wet saws proficiently.
  • Polish and clean surfaces post-construction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in concrete products, block masonry, or carpentry.
  • Experience in constructing and installing Outdoor Kitchens, Fireplaces, Firepits, and other decorative concrete structures.
  • Familiarity with masonry techniques, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Skill in constructing and maintaining masonry structures and surfaces.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills to address masonry-related issues promptly.
  • Goal-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with wet saws and accurate measurement is essential.
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous but not required.
