• As a Surface Cleaner Specialist, you will operate high-pressure Waterblasting equipment to clean surfaces in open and enclosed spaces, working on walls, equipment, buildings, pools, processing plants, bridges, and other structural surfaces, using hand-held spray guns.
• The work environment is typically wet and requires the use of protective gear and adherence to strict safety protocols.
• You will be responsible for operating a hand-held Hydroblasting gun that produces 20,000 -40,000 PSI in a prescribed method to clean surfaces and remove specific compounds.
• Often, visibility is limited, so you must be able to produce quality results with spotlighting.
• As a self-motivated and capable individual, you will work independently in an assigned area, contributing to the team's workload and interdependence.
• Travel to job sites with the crew to perform physically demanding work, usually multiple-day assignments, with an estimated 75-80% travel anticipated.
• 50% of work is performed on professionally installed scaffolds.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a laborer, with Waterblasting or pressure washing experience not required.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary, as the position requires the candidate to drive a company truck.
• You should be able to work with others and with little supervision.
• Mechanical aptitude is necessary, and you should be able to appropriately represent the company to customers.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWICTM card) is preferred, and knowledge of safety regulations in phosphate mines, along with a Phosphate Card, is a plus.
• You will work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy areas.
