Job Title: Travel Respiratory Care Specialist

Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina.

About the Job:

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will be available to start on January 27, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
  2. Analyze test results, including pulmonary function tests (PFTs), arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, chest X-rays, and sleep studies.
  3. Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues.
  4. Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and airway clearance techniques.
  5. Provide emergency respiratory care to patients experiencing respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, or other life-threatening situations.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours of work per week. Our pay package includes a tax-free stipend amount that will be determined upon confirmation of the position.

The estimated salary for this position is between $$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with healthcare teams.
