Key Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a seasoned Senior Public Affairs Specialist to contribute to a critical national security initiative.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a robust public relations strategy for the Cyber National Mission Force.
  • Facilitate communication efforts to ensure all relevant parties, including external entities and internal personnel, are kept well-informed.
  • Independently prepare and disseminate information to media outlets, specialized groups, and government representatives.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of various communication strategies, methodologies, and industry trends.
  • Ensure cohesive messaging throughout the CNMF by coordinating communication efforts across all divisions.
  • Execute additional public relations duties as required to align with the cyber mission objectives.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Department of Defense Public Affairs role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and strong communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Cyber Mission and its broader implications.
  • Experience in public affairs supporting high-level command structures.
  • Background in dynamic environments assisting senior leadership.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks and take proactive measures.
  • Highly organized and adaptable in managing various responsibilities.

Compensation Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This range reflects the typical compensation for this position based on experience and qualifications.
