About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT DevSecOps Engineer to join our Classified IT Transformation team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of security and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain large engineering COTS applications in secure, air-gapped environments.
  • Implement new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an Enterprise level.
  • Develop, review, and maintain RMF artifacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and in-house developed software applications.
  • Provide expertise in automation, virtualization, containerization, and DevSecOps principles.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with Linux fundamentals and basic scripting.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation in support of COTS or custom-built applications.
  • Experience with at least one commercial cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google).
  • Basic understanding of type 1 encryption and/or IPSEC tunnel.
  • Familiarity with the application and benchmarking of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), as well as at least one compliance framework (RMF, PCI-DSS, CMMC, DFARS, etc).
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
  • Experience with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC).
  • Existing Security Clearance.
  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining large engineering COTS applications (ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, CAD/PLM tools) in secure, air-gapped environments.
  • Experience with at least one or more languages: Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python,.NET, JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with ICD 503/JSIG and DAAPAM.
  • Experience implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an Enterprise level.
  • Experience with IS auditing and investigations.
  • Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
