As a Corporate Finance Intern, you will work closely with the finance team to develop and implement financial models, analyze market trends, and create reports for external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the finance team in its day-to-day operations, including executing critical financing activities and facilitating interactions between investors and Hilcorp.
  • Develop and maintain corporate financial models, ensuring compliance with all covenants.
  • Create reports and presentations for external stakeholders, including banks, bondholders, research analysts, rating agencies, and equity partners.
  • Monitor investment research and maintain peer data for comparison analysis.
  • Support senior management team on strategic projects and requests.

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in the oil and gas industry and energy finance.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
  • Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language proficiency).
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Education Requirements:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited four-year university or college with a strong record of academic achievement.
