SUMMARY
Ryde Technologies, LLC is in search of a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager with a background in Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. This role encompasses overseeing quality assurance processes, managing submittals, providing daily reports, addressing deficiencies with clients, and coordinating operations across multiple sites. The position is integral to our ongoing contracts supporting various DoD locations, with potential for extension based on project demands.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrated experience in a quality control capacity within Federal DoD contracts
- Certification from USACE/NAVFAC in Construction Quality Management for Contractors (QCM)
- Oversight of projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, requiring occasional travel (approximately 10%)
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Experience in safety management across multi-trade construction projects
- Familiarity with OSHA and EM-385 safety standards
- Capability to implement and enforce corporate or site-specific quality control programs
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for project updates with clients and subcontractors
Comprehensive knowledge of various construction disciplines, including electrical, HVAC, fire alarm systems, fire suppression, and architectural elements.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Established relationships with Federal government and DoD clients in the Mid-Atlantic region
- Prior experience collaborating with 8(a) certified companies
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of five years' experience as a quality control manager in industrial or commercial settings
- Experience managing projects valued over $500,000, particularly in HVAC and electrical-heavy environments
- Experience with the Corps of Engineers (USACE)
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- OSHA 30 Certification (can be obtained post-employment)
- Current favorable National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI) as per AR 380-67
- Possession of a valid driver's license
