Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Mechanic to join our team at Space Age Fuel Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with drivers and management to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and time records.
  • Source and procure parts and materials in a cost-effective manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working a standard 8-hour shift with occasional overtime as needed. Weekend work may be required.
