Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Assistant to join our team at TN Specialty Dental Services, PLLC. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor sedated patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary equipment, instruments, and materials for surgical procedures.
  • Escort patients to the operatory and assist with their preparation for surgery.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the procedure.
  • Assist the dentist with all surgical procedures and ensure accurate charting of patient data.
  • Maintain a clean and organized operatory and ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of instruments.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements and maintain certification and/or license renewals as required by the state.
Requirements
  • Must maintain certification and/or license renewals as required by the state.
  • Must excel in forward thinking to anticipate the needs of the patient and our dental team.
  • May be required to travel between office locations. Must be insurable by the company's insurance.
  • Must be CPR Certified.
Salary and Benefits
