Cardiac Sonographer II

As a Cardiac Sonographer II at UNC Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular team. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and vascular studies, to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Associate's degree in Sonography or a related field.
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Minimum one year of experience in a cardiovascular ultrasound setting.
