We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
