Job Description

The Workforce Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting employees and leaders with day-to-day HR needs, focusing on HR policies, procedures, and programs for a specific group of sites/functions in the US.

Critical Objectives/Outcomes
  • Provide positive employee relations and manager capability support across our sites, using data to recommend ER strategies and initiatives that enhance employee morale and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other workforce support tiers to ensure timely, friendly, and comprehensive resolution of employee inquiries and issues.
  • Support employees and managers with traditional HR activities such as promotions, investigations, corrective actions, and restructuring.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, complaints, and customer service.
  • Act as a liaison with HR workforce support leadership on policy reviews, improvements, training opportunities, and other initiatives.
  • Support leaders in finding and utilizing resources on core processes such as GPS, Performance Management, and Development.
  • Coach employees and leaders on navigating and resolving key leadership processes, managing conflicts, and other HR-related matters.
  • Build and maintain relationships and partnerships with assigned sites/groups.
  • Master our digital toolset, particularly ad.a/Servicenow, to support and resolve regional employee relations issues.
  • Contribute to key projects focused on new process or capability development/enhancement.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a thorough understanding of human resources and labor relations principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and cases.

Requirements and Prior Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
  • At least one to four years of related experience is required.
  • The role will support multiple locations and require travel to sites across the US.
