Job Summary:

The Audiologist is a key member of the UofL Health team, responsible for administering diagnostic audiological tests to differentiate between types of hearing disorders. This role involves providing hearing aid testing, selection, and fitting to all populations, as well as comprehensive diagnostic testing, including ABR, ENG, ECOG, ASSR, and other tests as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Pediatric and adult diagnostics, including otoscopy, tympanometry, pure tone, and speech audiometry for self-scheduled patients and ENT clinical coverage
  • Hearing aid evaluations and fittings
  • Hearing aid follow-up evaluations and programming
  • Ear mold impressions
  • Cerumen removal
  • Vestibular diagnostics and treatment, including Videonystagmography, evoked potentials, and dynamic platform posturography
  • Auditory Brainstem Response evaluations (threshold search and neurodiagnostic testing)
  • Implantable hearing device evaluations and programming, including Baha
  • Cochlear implant evaluations and programming

Qualifications:

  • AUD or Master's degree in Audiology, possess the CCC-A credential, and be eligible for Kentucky licensure in audiology
  • Prefer a minimum of five years of experience
