Job Title: Senior Salesforce Solutions Specialist

Job Location: US - New York/Hybrid

Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire

Job Overview:

In this position, you will play a crucial role in the training, implementation, and ongoing support of our Salesforce Lightning platform. Your primary focus will be on enhancing and optimizing Salesforce to elevate the service experience for our members. A strong technical background and a process-driven mindset are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with the Lightning Design System and experience with Service and Marketing Clouds are highly desirable.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is required.
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a system administrator in Salesforce Lightning.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
  • Strong self-motivation and multitasking abilities, with a collaborative spirit.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing Salesforce administrative tasks such as creating custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, list views, email templates, and Lightning app pages.
  • Proficient in advanced reporting, dashboards, and automation processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Import Wizard, and Workbench.
  • Ability to manage tasks effectively within tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Exhibits strong teamwork skills and thrives in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support and guidance to end users on effective Salesforce utilization.
  • Facilitate training sessions for internal staff on Salesforce Reports and Dashboards.
  • Manage user setup and maintain user roles, security, and profiles within Salesforce Lightning.
  • Monitor and report on system issues, configurations, and maintenance activities.
  • Utilize Salesforce ETL tools for data management tasks including insertion, updating, and deletion.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards based on user and project specifications.
  • Develop custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, list views, and page layouts in accordance with project timelines.
  • Design declarative flows and screen flows to meet end-user requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to track and enhance user adoption and engagement.
  • Assist in establishing organization-wide protocols for Salesforce usage.
  • Work with internal teams to sustain integrations with both on-premise and cloud-based platforms.
  • Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and implement new features, upgrades, and patches.
  • Ensure system security by managing sharing rules, role hierarchies, and field-level security.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Flosum for Salesforce release management.
  • Familiarity with Formstack for Salesforce.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Background in Information Technology or Computer Science is advantageous.
  • Experience in Salesforce Testing and Quality Assurance.
