Role Overview
This full-time hybrid position is situated within the Summit, New Jersey Metropolitan area. Upon acclimatization to your role, you will oversee a portfolio of industrial facilities, providing regular service intervals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with clients and coordinating your on-site service schedule
- Conducting on-site data collection and predictive analysis in accordance with company protocols
- Performing remote monitoring and analysis where wireless systems are available
- Identifying and isolating failure modes in industrial machinery
- Generating analytical summary reports that meet company standards
- Effectively communicating findings and delivering results to clients in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining strong relationships with key on-site contacts
- Assisting in the training and development of new team members
- Conducting equipment assessments and gathering information as required
- Executing ad-hoc field services as requested by clients or the company
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Vibration Analysis, with additional predictive skills (such as Infrared, U/S, Oil analysis) considered advantageous
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret results and provide actionable recommendations
- Experience in troubleshooting and condition monitoring practices
- Solid understanding of machinery operations
- Background in an industrial environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to work independently and remotely
- Certification in Vibration Analysis of ISO CAT II or higher is mandatory
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred
