Job Summary

Tower Health is seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join our team at Phoenixville Hospital's Level 2B NICU. As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to infants born at 32 weeks gestation or greater. Our NICU is staffed 24/7 by a team of board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners, and we offer a great work-life balance with a 24-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to infants in the Level 2B NICU
  • Manage babies with CPAP and ventilation support
  • Provide educational support to residents
  • Provide family-centered care
  • Average daily census: 4-5 babies in the NICU and 15 in the well newborn area
  • 8-24 hour shifts per 4-week schedule
Requirements
  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with active board certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • 3+ years post-training experience
  • Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor preferred
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community
  • Ability to function in a team environment to support collaboration
  • Demonstrated record of supporting patients in a Level 2 NICU as the primary physician
  • Excellent verbal, written, and group presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date
  • Unrestricted DEA certification
