Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide kitchen operations support for client daily meals in a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Ensure the availability of clean dishes, pots, pans, and equipment.
  • Assist cooks with daily meal preparation work and stocking of supplies.
  • Ensure food safety and cleanliness in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Transport and serve client meals and snacks at designated times.
  • Reset dining areas and kitchen spaces after meals.
  • Unload and store deliveries to ensure stock rotation.
  • Support cooks and other staff with tasks as needed.
  • Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimal work experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
  • Compliance with all food safety procedures.
  • Food handling certifications required by the city and state.
  • Comfortable working with individuals experiencing behavioral health issues.

Working Conditions:

This is a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Hourly Rate: $16 - $18.71 per hour
