About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Radiologic Imaging (90%):
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
    • Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
    • Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Radiologic Department Support (5%):
    • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
    • Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.
  • Other Tasks (5%):
    • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiologic procedures independently.
