We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Radiologic Imaging (90%):
- Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
- Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
- Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
- Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
- Radiologic Department Support (5%):
- Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
- Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
- Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.
- Other Tasks (5%):
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
- ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography.
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiologic procedures independently.
