Position: Quality Inspector I

Job Overview:

The Quality Inspector I is responsible for conducting preliminary inspections and repetitive tasks associated with visual assessments and fundamental functional testing.

This role ensures that products meet both internal and external standards by executing a variety of routine and non-routine evaluations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting precise mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to established inspection plans and specifications.
  • Engaging in PCI activities for notifications as necessary.
  • Adhering to all procedural requirements to maintain compliance with relevant Quality System Regulations.
  • Assisting in the documentation archival process, including preparing materials for shipment and scanning documents for electronic records.
  • Initiating Non-Conformance reports when necessary.
  • Supporting Non-Conformance and Corrective and Preventive Action activities as required.
  • Participating in special projects as they arise.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with an Associate's or Technical Degree preferred.

Basic computer proficiency is required for regular documentation and information access.

Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaboration with team members and understanding instructions.

Familiarity with medical device regulations and FDA standards is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and typically require minimal travel.

The role demands the ability to perform essential functions in an office setting, including prolonged periods of sitting and manual dexterity for operating standard office equipment.

Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs may be necessary.
