Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves overseeing room reservations, setups, suite equipment, and office moves, including scheduling and setting up training and conference rooms, assembling furniture, and installing equipment. The position also entails managing vendors working onsite, ensuring compliance and communicating schedules and impacts to relevant parties. Additionally, the role requires monitoring the suites' conditions through daily walk-throughs, reporting issues, and performing minor repairs and replacements.

Responsibilities

  • Room Reservations and Setups: Oversee room reservations, setups, suite equipment, and office moves, including scheduling and setting up training and conference rooms, assembling furniture, and installing equipment.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendors working onsite, ensuring compliance and communicating schedules and impacts to relevant parties.
  • Suite Monitoring: Monitor the suites' conditions through daily walk-throughs, reporting issues, and performing minor repairs and replacements.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: painting, monitoring walls, doors, and stairs, and ensuring the correct paint colors are used.

Requirements

  • Facilities-related experience: 3 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hand Tool Knowledge: Experience with hand tools and performing minor repairs.
  • Work Order Management: Ability to handle work orders through a work order system (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail required for maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless operations.
