About the Position

Governors State University is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as Adjunct Clinical and Teaching Faculty in the Communication Disorders program. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to supervise graduate students and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in speech-language pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as university supervisor of graduate students in external practica in speech-language pathology
  • Provide clinical supervision of graduate students in a pre-practicum course in speech-language pathology in pediatric and adult community settings
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in areas of need, including child language, adult language, voice, and/or fluency
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in speech-language pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of post-CFY clinical experience as an SLP
  • Experience supervising graduate students in clinical settings in speech-language pathology
  • Teaching experience
