As a Power Mechanic Level B at Estes Express, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret work orders and technical manuals
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 18+ years of age
- Minimum of one year experience and/or completion of trade school
- Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
- Must have own tools
- Knowledge of general repairs and PM criteria
- Specific knowledge of heavy truck repairs in a commercial environment
- Ability to keep up with changing technology and updates
- Mechanical ability and interest in engines, electronics, and precision equipment
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. and work in awkward positions
- Valid CDL and acceptable MVR required if driving on public roads
- Registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse required if CDL holder
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
- Self-starting and organized
- Strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work any shift, including nights and weekends, in any weather condition
- Ability to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures, and Code of Conduct
- Ability to interact well with others
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Ability to work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this job include lifting and/or moving a minimum of 70 lbs., standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee may be required to work in high/precarious places, with hazardous materials, and in various weather conditions.
Work Environment:
The work environment at Estes Express is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. The employee will be working in a warehouse or maintenance facility, with exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
