Student Transportation Operator

Compensation and Benefits:- Starting wage of $21.00 per hour, based on experience
- Sign-on bonus of $1,500*
- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits along with 401k Retirement Savings Plans (specific benefits may vary by location or collective bargaining agreement)
Morning Shift: 5:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Schedule may vary based on assigned routes.
- No prior experience required; we provide training
- Paid CDL training available
- Guaranteed 4 hours of pay per shift
- Opportunities for additional hours through charter routes
- No night or weekend shifts
As a professional driver, your primary role will be to ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing advanced technology to navigate daily routes efficiently
- Conducting thorough pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Assisting students with boarding and exiting the bus
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license held for a minimum of 3 years
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination
Note: Compliance with DOT regulations prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, under any circumstances.
