Caregiver for Memory Care Community

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Keepsake Village of Columbus Memory Care community in Columbus, Indiana. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with all aspects of resident care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information
- Notify Resident Care Coordinator/Executive Director/RN of resident changes in condition
- Assist in the dining room during meal times, including setup, taking meal/beverage orders, serving, and busing tables
- Participate in activities and assist residents in getting to scheduled events
- Get residents ready and to the lobby for scheduled appointments
- Be aware of changes in resident condition and report to Medication Aide/Resident Care Coordinator/RN immediately
- Take accurate vital signs and weights
- Assist with care needs of residents, including lifting requirements up to 40 pounds
- Stay current on First Aid/CPR as directed by Resident Care Coordinator
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management staff
- High school graduate preferred
- Proficiency in English required
- Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population, with previous experience preferred but not necessary
- Attend and participate in scheduled mandatory in-services and other meetings
- Receive and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
