POSITION SUMMARY
We are in search of a dedicated and process-oriented Commercial Contracts Counsel who will engage daily with company attorneys, executives, and sales personnel in a dynamic sales environment as part of the Legal Department. The ideal candidate should exhibit exceptional communication and organizational abilities, along with a collaborative mindset and the capacity to work across various levels of the organization. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and the capability to operate confidently under pressure. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting, analyzing, revising, and negotiating intricate master services agreements, Statements of Work, vendor contracts, Requests for Proposals, contract employee agreements, and other pertinent legal documents.
- Reviewing terms and conditions of commercial contracts.
- Providing guidance to internal clients on contract provisions and related legal matters.
- Editing legal documents to ensure alignment with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintaining precise database and file records to ensure compliance.
- Communicating with senior management and sales leaders regarding contract provisions.
- Offering a solution-oriented approach to business contract negotiations.
- Assisting with other legal or litigation matters as they arise.
- Collaborating with fellow Contracts Counsel to develop efficient and effective policies that meet legal and business requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while managing multiple activities, contracts, subcontracts, and both internal and external customers simultaneously.
A highly motivated individual capable of working independently.
Exceptional oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
A detail-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
This position will be a hybrid role, necessitating at least three days in the office each week.
