Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel equipment problems, using advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to complete repairs and resolve complex issues.
  • Document all repair work and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or a combination of both.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
  • Prior experience with administering PM programs and maintaining inventory records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
