Job Description

At Unicon Pharma Inc, we are seeking a skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to support our plant's automation equipment needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing equipment availability, minimizing downtime hours, and optimizing production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine machine maintenance functions, including cleaning, checking, and preparing presses and other production machinery.
  • Operate lathes, mills, grinders, sanders, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and improve equipment performance.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain equipment logs and coordinate activities to ensure departmental compliance.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years' work experience as a Technician on automated assembly equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Oracle.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a clean room environment.
  • Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects of up to 50 lbs.
