Certified Surgical Technologist, Closed Heart Unit

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing expert perioperative patient care in our Closed Heart Unit. You will work closely with our team of skilled surgeons and nurses to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation.
- Function as a scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and/or invasive procedures.
- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory.
- Use knowledge and expertise to act as a role model and resource for other staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ year of minimum invasive/open heart experience required or leadership committed to a successful CV OR team.
- Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program.
- Certified in Basic Life Support and current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
