Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Wooster Community Hospital. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for operating under the direction of the Imaging Services Director and Manager, and will work closely with Dosimetry, Medical Physics, and Radiation Oncologists to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment planning exams and therapeutic treatments on identified patient populations
  • Work closely with Dosimetry, Medical Physics, and Radiation Oncologists to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and outcomes
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiation Therapy Section)
  • ODH License
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Attributes
  • Basic computer skills with ability to navigate Radiation Therapy Specific systems
  • 3 years previous experience in Medical Imaging
Work Environment

Employees in this position may be exposed to blood, body fluids, and airborne pathogens, and are required to wear protective barriers. Employees may also be expected to work weekends or take call.
