LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Family Practice Clinic

Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a Family Practice Clinic setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary clinical support to providers, patients, and their families to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in the medical record.
- Promote a clean environment and meet qualifications to provide care for patients in specific age ranges.
- Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical data for providers.
- Assist providers in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork.
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice.
- Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases.

To be considered for this role, you must:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Nursing.
- Hold a Basic Life Support Certification and a Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
