Medical Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the North Shore Healthcare Support Center. This is a part-time or PRN opportunity that offers flexibility and a rewarding work environment.
As a Registered Nurse with us, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents/patients under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON. You will assume responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care
- Maintaining resident/patient safety by managing the environment
- Supervising resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers
- Following North Shore's policies and procedures
- Performing duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act
- FOLLOWING JCAHO STANDARDS
You will be required to work a minimum of 3 shifts, at 8 hours per shift, and no more than 10 shifts per month. Commitment to summer and winter holidays is also expected.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current license in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current CPR certification
- The ability to use necessary supplies and equipment
- The ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meet all health requirements imposed by law
- The ability to relate positively with residents, families, and staff
- The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- BASIC COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY
While experience in a fast-paced environment and previous post-acute care experience are preferred, they are not required.

Please note that salary details are available upon request and estimated annual salary is around $85,000 based on the title, job description, and location. The actual salary may vary depending on factors such as experience and qualifications.
