Medical Care Specialist

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at MUSC Health & Medical University of SC, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
• Assist medical staff with preparation, examination, and procedures, including interviewing patients to obtain personal data and chief complaint.
• Participate in recording and reporting responsibilities, documenting findings relevant to patients' health care status or plan of care.
• Prioritize and document patient incoming phone calls, as assigned, regarding medications, medical conditions, and reviews with provider as needed for orders or changes.
Requirements:
• Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in South Carolina or Compact Licensure Agreement.
• AHA BLS certification.
