Position Summary:
The Cybersecurity Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities within both internal and external applications through comprehensive security evaluations and automated scanning processes.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual validation of vulnerabilities identified during automated scans and document validated findings.
- Analyze security findings and formulate risk mitigation strategies.
- Validate the remediation efforts of system owners regarding reported vulnerabilities.
- Provide guidance to system owners on effective strategies for addressing vulnerabilities as needed.
- Assess systems and applications to ensure compliance with relevant policies and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).


Qualifications:
Certification Requirements:
Applicants must meet DoD IAT Level II compliance and possess a valid IAT Level II certification.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of five (5) years of pertinent experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or information assurance is essential. Familiarity with Information Assurance tools such as eMass or ACAS is preferred.

Security Clearance:
An active SECRET clearance is mandatory. The selected candidate will undergo security investigations and must uphold eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
