At Digital Consultants LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Systems Administrator to join our IT Technology Operations division within the NCIS ITD organization. This role is responsible for implementing STIG releases across various operating systems and applications, tracking and remediating IAVM vulnerabilities, and managing ACAS vulnerability reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, with experience in DoD system accreditation, STIG checklist review process, SCAP scans and implementation, and Microsoft SCCM package creation and deployment. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with Windows 10, including deployment via SCCM/standalone options, and have previous exposure to VMware virtual environments. A CompTIA Security+ CE certification and Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility are required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement STIG releases across various operating systems and applications
  • Track and remediate IAVM vulnerabilities
  • Manage ACAS vulnerability reports
  • Perform software upgrades, patch installs, and firmware upgrades
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
  • Communicate daily with coworkers and leadership
  • Continually monitor and harden servers to meet SCAP and STIG requirements
  • Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using Vsphere
  • Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks
  • Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers on various tasks

Requirements:

  • BS degree or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years of experience with systems administration
  • DoD system accreditation
  • STIG checklist review process
  • SCAP scans and implementation
  • Microsoft SCCM package creation and deployment
  • Familiarity with Windows 10, including deployment via SCCM/standalone options
  • Previous exposure to VMware virtual environments
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
