Electrophysiology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders by operating electroencephalographs and other diagnostic equipment.

• Operate electroencephalographs to measure brain activity and detect evidence of neurological disorders
• Perform EKGs, EEGs, and other diagnostic tests to evaluate brain function
• Study wave characteristics and mark graphs for further analysis by physicians or neurologists
• Write reports indicating unusual wave characteristics and provide recommendations for further testing or treatment
• Perform routine maintenance on diagnostic equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Notify physicians of exam results and file reports

• High School Diploma
• BLS Certification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and analytical skills
