Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Resource Float Pool team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience in Medical Surgical/Tele or ICU/ER, Ortho/PCU.
