Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Uniontown Hospital. As a key member of our Cardio Non-Invasive Lab, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive imaging procedures in Cardiac Graphics and Vascular Laboratories.

• Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures in Cardiac Graphics and Vascular Laboratories, including echocardiograms, TEEs, TTEs, stress echo, and structure heart program imaging.
• Perform proper billing of procedures and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely completion of procedures.
• Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Obtain information for specific procedures, answer patient questions, and provide excellent customer service.
• Document procedure performed within patient chart to inform physician of test completion.
• Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures from procedure data to aid physician in interpreting results and achieving a diagnosis.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year of Sonography experience
• Must obtain one of the following certifications within two years of hire: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date

• One year of experience in a certified echocardiography laboratory or vascular laboratory
