Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Road Supervisor to join our team at JAUNT, Inc. as a key member of our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driver Supervision: Supervise and coach drivers to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and adhering to company policies.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on driver compliance with company policies and procedures, including time management, crisis response, and policy enforcement.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate reports on driver performance, incidents, and other relevant data.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop and implement training programs for drivers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports as needed to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Timecard Reconciliation: Reconcile driver timecards daily to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate driver performance in collaboration with the Training Manager and Director of Operations, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a transportation or operations environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and a valid Virginia driver's license.
  • Certifications: Must have, or be able to obtain within three months, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

This position is considered Safety Sensitive based on FTA regulation: Prevention of Alcohol Misuse and Prohibited Drug Use in Transit Operations, 49 CFR Part 655.
