We are seeking a highly skilled Road Supervisor to join our team at JAUNT, Inc. as a key member of our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Driver Supervision: Supervise and coach drivers to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and adhering to company policies.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on driver compliance with company policies and procedures, including time management, crisis response, and policy enforcement.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate reports on driver performance, incidents, and other relevant data.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop and implement training programs for drivers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports as needed to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Timecard Reconciliation: Reconcile driver timecards daily to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Performance Evaluation: Evaluate driver performance in collaboration with the Training Manager and Director of Operations, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a transportation or operations environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and a valid Virginia driver's license.
- Certifications: Must have, or be able to obtain within three months, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
This position is considered Safety Sensitive based on FTA regulation: Prevention of Alcohol Misuse and Prohibited Drug Use in Transit Operations, 49 CFR Part 655. The successful candidate must be able to perform the position's essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
