Responsibilities
  • Manage patient flow and provide warm hospitality and welcoming services.
  • Provide recovery navigation services, connecting patients to internal and external recovery supports and programs.
  • Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, minutes, records of case reviews, and managing voicemail and fax inboxes.
  • Manage intakes, data questionnaires, recovery rewards payments, and raffles for the stimulant treatment program.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated commitment to harm reduction, reducing stigma, and working together with people experiencing addiction or recovery.
  • Understanding of issues related to homelessness, poverty, and racism, and how these influence the lives of people living with substance use disorders.
  • Experience in administrative roles, including maintenance of databases or patient/customer lists, comfort with Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn electronic medical records.
  • Experience in welcoming or hospitality and managing patient/customer flow, helping patients/customers manage anxiety or frustration.
  • Ability to work with anxious, uncomfortable, or upset people and help them reach their goals, build long-term friendly relationships with customers/patients.
