Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL/SSIS Senior Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data architecture and database systems for our reporting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data processes, including strong SQL and experience with MS SQL, or UDB.
  • Expand and optimize data pipelines, data flow, and collection for cross-functional teams.
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture by assembling large, complex data sets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Support the building of data platforms and infrastructure required for optimal data extraction, transformations, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of IT experience, with at least 7+ years of experience working as an SQL developer & Data Architect.
  • Experience in life insurance is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, multithreading, object-oriented development, distributed applications, and client-server architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
Desirable Skills
  • Cloud exposure.
  • Denodo exposure.
  • Some Mainframe Development background.
  • Experience in web services, streaming, and messaging technologies.
