About the Role

Job Description

Father Bill's & MainSpring is a dynamic social service agency dedicated to ending and preventing homelessness in Southern Massachusetts. As a key member of our team, the Chief Diversity Officer will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission by fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and empathy.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective DEI strategies, building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI plan aligned with Father Bill's & MainSpring's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create inclusive programs, services, and policies that address the needs of diverse populations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employees' understanding of DEI principles and practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to promote our organization's DEI initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A deep understanding of DEI principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective DEI strategies and programs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
