In this role, you will provide mobile diagnostic imaging services to patients in nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and homecare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive at patient locations in fully equipped company vehicles and unload portable ultrasound equipment.
  • Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent ultrasound images while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Transmit images to interpreting radiologists or cardiologists for results, ensuring proper labeling and quality.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Report equipment failures and malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Inspect and clean equipment prior to use.
  • Report patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions according to QA policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good standing.
  • Registry in good standing issued by ARDMS.
  • State ultrasound license if required by state.
  • One year of experience, preferred - new graduates welcome.
  • Maintain CEUs as required by state regulations.
  • Pass a background check screening.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing.
  • Proficiency with technology (computers, mobile devices, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to display common sense and good judgment in following rules, protocols, policies, and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, reaching, and bending.
  • Ability to push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Physical strength and agility to position patients for various imaging examinations.
