- Conduct regular examinations of materials, products, and production processes to ensure adherence to established quality benchmarks.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports that pinpoint trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain meticulous quality documentation, including inspection plans, test procedures, and comprehensive quality manuals.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate actively in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage non-conforming materials, ensuring appropriate disposition and corrective actions are taken.
- Leverage statistical methods and quality tools to monitor and refine processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proficiency in utilizing quality tools and statistical analysis software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and generate comprehensive reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are highly desirable.
- Certifications related to quality management, such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
