About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Pulmonary Medicine team at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice in a 100% outpatient pulmonary setting, providing care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, pulmonary nodules, COPD, pulmonary infections, interstitial lung disease, and other pulmonary conditions.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and their families on disease management and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
- Board certification or eligibility.
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
