Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Pro-Tech Staffing Services. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing raw materials and components used in our electrical manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in inventory or warehouse management, knowledge of scrap salvaging and handling methods, and material handling skills. They must also be able to follow established written and verbal instructions, demonstrate computer literacy, and operate lift trucks and forklifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and receive incoming shipments of raw materials and components.
  • Store materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of scrap salvaging and handling methods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year.
