Job Overview

We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at TransPak. This role is responsible for leading inventory and tool management activities, ensuring accurate records, and coordinating with the General Manager.

About the Role

This position involves handling all aspects of inventory movement, compiling records, participating in cycle counts, and coordinating procurement details. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management and quality control principles, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

* Handle inventory movement, including stocking, re-stocking, and accounting for every item
* Compile and maintain accurate records of inventory quantity, type, and value
* Participate in monthly and year-end inventory cycle counts and reconciliation issues
* Coordinate inventory requirements and procurement details with the Division's General Manager
* Track transportation and distribution of tool and material inventory
* Oversee records of all stocks and compile evaluation reports

Requirements

* Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management and quality management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work Monday through Friday assigned schedule, with occasional required weekends and overtime
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize daily work and meet deadlines
* Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds
